Our Pergola Shade Weaves are custom-tailored to perfectly fit your structure.

  • Made from an exceptionally durable fabric that resists fading, rot, tearing, and mould.

  • Includes double-stitched seams, triple-layer reinforced grommeted ends, and Stainless Steel mounting hardware designed specifically for wooden pergolas.
  • They can be attached to any side of the beam. We recommend lateral sides to avoid water pooling in the screws, but it's not a big issue.

There are two measurements required:

  1. String Length. Replicate the shade of the weave by weaving a non-string over and under your cross-beams ideally with two people. Start measuring from your anchor points. Then transfer the string to the ground and measure with a tape measure.
  2. Width. Weaves are static shade sails, so there is no need for clearance between them.

Installation

Shade Weaves can be attached to any side of the beam. However, they are best situated on the sides or bottom faces where they will be protected from weather and rot.

They are designed for wooden pergolas. Self tapping screws are needed to install them in a metal frame. Please note we do not provide those.

Measurements

Weave sails are tailored to your pergola.

To measure the length, anchor a string to the intended anchor point and replicate the sail shape - preferably with a non-stretching rope. Then transfer the string to the ground and measure the end to end distance.

To calculate the width, measure the pergola width distance and divide it by the number of weaves you would like. Please note that online orders have maximum of 24".

Fabric and colours

Out of all the fabrics abailable, we recommend to use our Commercial Grade Light fabric for our Shade Weaves.

This fabric is extremely durable, and highly fade, rot, tear and mould resistant. Warrantied for 15 years, it provides protection from harmful UV rays and is available in an array of 22 eye-catching colours.

  • Flat washers
  • Threaded wood inserts

Please note the anchor hardware is designed for wood pergolas.
