Southfields Community Centre in Caledon, ON opened its doors to the public in September 2020. This state-of-the-art recreation complex offers many amenities including swimming pools, a public library, an ice skating rink, weight rooms, auditoriums and even a preschool. Southfields Community Centre provides a diverse range of programs and activities serving residents and visitors of all age groups. 

This project in particular came by way of a bid issue from the Town of Caledon to provide shade for the patio of their newly built public library. Shade Sails Canada won the bid by creatively integrating our design and rendering service to create an in depth road map to completing the project while staying on budget. It was important that no attachments be connected to the new building, thus the whole system is suspended on independent posts.
