The Hypod is a durable, weather-resistant shade structure designed to provide reliable protection from the elements. Its robust support system helps maintain stability and performance during inclement weather. Its hyperbolic shade sail design provides aerodynamic advantages over a flat canopy by allowing wind to flow around the structure more effectively.

We use only Marine 316 stainless steel hardware and high-tensile fabrics from the world’s premium providers: Monotec and Gale Pacific.

Pre-engineered Hypods offer a faster, more cost-effective alternative to custom designs. With proven engineering and streamlined manufacturing, they simplify planning, reduce installation time, and provide predictable costs.

Our Hypods offer two types of footings:

• Base Plate. A base plate footing is a practical and effective option for installing a Hypod shade structure, as it provides a secure and stable connection between the mast and the concrete foundation. It allows for easier installation and maintenance, while keeping the connection accessible above ground.

• Direct Embedded. A direct embedded footing simplifies construction by eliminating the need for complex anchor bolts and base plates, as the structural post is set directly into a deep poured-concrete shaft. This continuous connection significantly enhances lateral and uplift resistance, which is essential for counteracting the heavy wind shear and dynamic loads inherent to a hypod structure's asymmetrical, hyperbolic design. Additionally, it maintains a clean, minimal ground-level footprint that minimizes trip hazards and maximizes usable space underneath.

Thanks to their hyperbolic shape, achieved by flying two diagonally opposing points substantially lower than the other points, Our Hypod structures are great for adding an aesthetic quality to your space and can be combined with our Dual Shade fabric to create a truly unique facility.
