FAQs

Do I need previous shade-sail experience?

Not necessarily. Relevant construction, project-management, sales, installation or design experience may be more important depending on the partner pathway. Approved partners receive program-specific training and support.

Do I need to install the products I sell?

No. Some partners may qualify as Authorized Resellers without becoming Certified Installers.

Can I become an installer without selling?

Yes. The Certified Installer pathway is designed for qualified companies that want to focus on site assessment and installation.

What if we already sell another shade product?

That does not automatically prevent you from becoming a partner. We'll discuss your current product relationships and determine whether Shade Sails Canada fills a complementary need within your offering.

Is the program exclusive?

Partner territories and market coverage are evaluated as the network develops. Participation should not be presented as territorial exclusivity unless specifically agreed to by Shade Sails Canada.

Is there a cost to apply?

There should be no cost simply to apply. Any future program, training or commercial requirements should be discussed during qualification before a company commits.
